Firm founder Larry Lehmbecker was raised in Renton, Washington, where his father worked as a Boeing airplane mechanic. Larry began working while still in high school and continued to work through College and Law School to finance his education. He worked at many jobs to pay for his education, including construction laborer, hod carrier, factory worker, boat builder, and waiter.
Larry graduated from the University of Washington in 1983 and University of California Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 1986. Upon graduation, Larry decided he wanted to serve the people with whom he grew up, so he moved back to the Seattle area after law school to begin a general practice providing legal services such as family law, estate planning, small business consulting, and workers’ compensation. However, he soon learned that the work that he found most compelling was representing injured workers, who were often in desperate need of assistance to rebuild their lives after suffering career or life-altering injuries.
In 1990, Larry changed his practice to solely represent injured persons. The firm he founded has grown to include three attorneys and four paralegals. Four members of his team are bilingual in Spanish. The firm provides legal services to clients who have suffered personal injuries, both on and off the job.
Larry’s background has left him with progressive values and a desire to ensure his firm does its part to promote diversity and social equity. Lehmbecker Law is a leader in Washington State, equally serving all members of the diverse community.
